An Ecofin approval of Greece plan to receive funding from the EU’s post-Covid recovery fund on Tuesday elicited an immediate and celebratory Tweet by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who pro-reform government looking forward to financing a robust recovery via the scheme.
“Historic moment for Greece, as our National Recovery and Resilience Plan is approved. Now the hard work begins as we accelerate our plans creating jobs and growth in the sustainable, digital and infrastructure space, leading to a brighter future for all our citizens,” was the message by Mitsotakis, whose government has dubbed the plan “Greece2.0”.
