The works on the coastal front of Elliniko and the architectural plans of Marina Galleria are currently presented in an online presentation, open to the public, by Lamda Development.
As already announced, the renewed coastal zone will be in itself a unique landmark, with a total length of 3.5 km, while at the same time the new 1 km long free access beach will be created. It will connect the coastal attractions, creating public spaces and residential areas where existing green spaces and churches will be maintained.
As it has already become known and published on the website of Elliniko SA, leisure and dining areas will be developed along the beach. In addition, the coastal road will be pedestrianized, so that pedestrians and cyclists can move safely along it.
“The opening to the sea has a central place in our design for Elliniko. That is why the reshaping of the coastal front is in itself a separate development, to which we have given priority. Our vision is the coastal zone of Elliniko, 3.5 km long, to become the most beautiful part of the Athenian Riviera and to become a favorite destination of entertainment, sports, relaxation and entertainment for all, but also a new commercial and tourist pole that will create wealth. for the country,” said CEO of Lamda Development, Mr. Odysseas Athanassiou, during the presentation.
Marina Galleria: a new generation destination by the sea
Marina Galleria (www.theellinikonmarinagalleria.com) will offer guests a multifaceted and highly aesthetic shopping, gastronomy and entertainment experience that meets modern international trends.
In 22,000 sq.m., it will host leading fashion houses, some of which are coming to Greece for the first time, but also internationally recognized Greek designers. It will also offer a series of high-level gastronomic proposals from famous Greek and foreign chefs, as well as a variety of cultural and entertainment events.
Designed by the internationally renowned architectural firm Kengo Kuma and Associates, which signs impressive works worldwide, Marina Galleria will be one of the landmarks of Elliniko, an architectural landmark in the new marina of Agios Kosmas and an attraction for visitors from Greece and Worldwide.

The most beautiful coastal front in Europe
The design of Lamda Development for the regeneration of the coastal zone of Elliniko includes a series of emblematic landmarks and destination points, which will highlight the unique natural beauty but also the important development prospects of the Athenian Riviera in a top tourist destination worldwide for the whole year.
On the coastal front will be created, among other things, a new sandy beach 1 km long, free access, where residents and visitors of the city will be able to swim, play sports and have fun. The projects also include the renovation of the marina of Agios Kosmas, which will be upgraded both in terms of capacity and services, as well as the creation of two high standard hotel units in collaboration with the TEMES Group. In the same area will be the Marina Tower, the green skyscraper of unique architecture, designed by the leading architectural firm Foster + Partners.
The coastal front will be connected to the Metropolitan Park and the other areas of Elliniko, through a network of 50 km, which will include walking, cycling and public transport routes.
The goal of Lamda Development is to highlight the Greek and Athenian Riviera in a global quality destination, which will offer value to the neighboring municipalities, Attica and the country and will give citizens new beautiful open spaces to play sports, to have fun, to relax in the green overlooking the sea.
