ATHEX-listed Alpha Bank successfully completed a 500-million-euro benchmark-sized senior preferred bond on Thursday, with the issue’s yield reaching 2.625 percent and with a coupon at 2.5 percent.
The issue attracted high demand from major international funds – more than 60 – confirming a recent surge in demand for bond investments in Greece.
Total offers exceeded one billion euros. The 6.5 year bond is callable after 5.5 years.
