Multinational tour agency operator TUI will open the tourist season in Greece next March in selected destinations, following a meeting in Athens on Tuesday between Greek Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias and TUI group CFO Sebastian Ebel as well as TUI group director for corporate and external affairs.
Both German executives, speaking during the meeting, said Greece was one of the most significant destinations on TUI’s portfolio, while expressing confidence that the coming season will witness the group bringing more than three million holiday-makers to the country – a threshold exceeded in 2019.
