Event for the promotion of “The Most Sustainable Companies in Greece 2022”.

The annual event for the presentation of the results of the Sustainability Performance Directory, of the Sustainable Development Index is organized online by the QualityNet Foundation, on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 17:00 p.m. at 20:30 pm. It will also present “The Most Sustainable Companies in Greece 2022”, the companies that form the Business Charter of Sustainable Development in our country. The event will present the trends and perspectives that define the new frame of reference in the publication of non-financial information, through dialogue tables with representatives of institutions and businesses of our country.

The event will begin with the official greetings of Mr. Christos Staikouras, Minister of Finance, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, Minister of Development and Investment, and Mr. Costas Skrekas, Minister of Environment and Energy. The guest speaker of the event will be Dr. Alexander Bassen, Professor of Finance at the University of Hamburg, member of the German Council for Sustainable Development and member of the Scientific Committee of the EU Sustainability Reporting Standards of EFRAG, who will present the latest developments at European level for Sustainable Financing, EU Taxonomy and the application of non-financial information, through the ESG criteria in business and financial markets. The event will present “The Most Sustainable Companies in Greece 2022”, followed by three high-level dialogue panels with the following topics:

– The importance of ESG criteria in tackling climate change and in supporting the competitiveness of Greek companies.

– Environment – Challenges and Achievements

– The stages of application of the ESG criteria in the company – Challenges and Tools.
