
The Management of Alpha Bank, led by the CEO Vassilis Psaltis and the participation of the General Manager of Wholesale Banking Giannis Emiris and the Managers of Commercial Banking, Business Centers and Branch Networks, made a three-day tour in the regional units of Larissa and Magnesia.
Alpha Bank‘s staff had meetings with the managements of seven leading business groups in the region, in the context of the implementation of its ambitious credit policy, which aims at the net channeling of resources over Euro 8 billion in the Greek economy over the next three years.
Besides, Thessaly, in addition to its leading role in the agri-food sector, has a business potential characterized by a high degree of innovation and extroversion, in the sectors of trade, tourism and industry. The mobilization of the financial resources of the Recovery Fund, the NSRF and the Development Law creates the conditions for the implementation of high value-added investment projects that will create new jobs and dynamic growth for the local and national economy.

Economic growth of Thessaly
According to a relevant announcement, the Alpha Bank Group is steadily registering its presence in the effort for the economic and social development of Thessaly, financially supporting the development of infrastructures as well as the investment plans of companies from all sectors of the economy.
Among other things, in recent years, Alpha Bank has played a leading role in the financing of the Central Greece Highway (E-65) with a total length of 238 km that crosses the plain of Fthiotida, the Thessalian plain and the river Pinios, passing near the cities of Karditsa, Trikala, Kalampaka to finally join the Egnatia Odos in the Pindos Forest. Practical support to Health Units
As part of the Alpha Bank Management tour in the Region of Thessaly, Vassilis Psaltis had a meeting with the Governor of Thessaly Konstantinos Agorastos during which it was agreed to include the Region of Thessaly in the program “Together, aiming at Health”, to cover health needs in 6 Health structures in the Prefectures of Larissa, Magnesia, Trikala and Karditsa.
