Bank of Greece: 6.09bln€ central govt cash balance deficit recorded in Jan-Jul 2022 period

Greece’s central government cash balance recorded a deficit of 6.09 billion euros in the January-July 2022, compared to a deficit of 13.078 billion euros in the corresponding period of 2021, the Bank of Greece (BoG) announced.

Additionally, ordinary budget revenue amounted to 30.203 billion euros in the same period, compared to 24.111 billion euros in the corresponding period of 2021.

Ordinary budget expenditures amounted to 34.906 billion euros, down 35.999 billion euros in January-July 2021.
