The weighted average selling price of the energy from the total of 21 RES stations selected in the context of the latest competition of the Regulatory Authority for Energy-RAE was established at 47.98 euros per megawatt hour for photovoltaics and at 57.66 euros for wind plants.

It is noted that the price of electricity on the Stock Exchange varies between 400-500 euros per megawatt hour, which means that the faster entry of RES into the energy mix, with the prices that have been formed in recent years, contribute to the reduction of costs. And this despite the fact that the prices set in the last auction are higher than the previous ones mainly due to the increase in the cost of RES construction materials due to the international crisis.

According to the results approved by the RAE Plenary Assembly, the total power of the units selected is 538.4 megawatts, of which 30.9% (166.25 megawatts) were wind power and 69.1% (372.16 megawatts) photovoltaics.
