Emergency services were activated on Sunday afternoon at the Athens International Airport (AIA) after a bomb threat was received involving a Ryanair Boeing 737 headed for Greece from Katowice, Poland, with 192 people aboard.
The plane made an emergency landing at the specific airport, with passengers and crews evacuated. A thorough search of the plane and passengers failed to turn up anything suspicious.
