Customs inspectors at Kipoi border crossing with the help of an detection dog identified and confiscated heroin, with a total gross weight of 9.2 kg, the value of which exceeds 110,000 euros.
The drugs were found in 34 nylon packages, in the trunk of a taxi, which tried to enter our country from Turkey. In fact, they were carefully hidden in pillowcases and were in the personal belongings of the taxi passenger.
The owner of the drugs was arrested and brought to the Criminal Prosecutor’s Office of Alexandroupolis for the further judicial actions.
