A light earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was recorded near the Dodecanese Isle of Symi, off the western shore of Asia Minor, on Monday afternoon at 18.45 local time (16.45 GMT). According to the Geodynamic Institute of Athens, the tremor was pinpointed at 35 kilometers northeast of Symi, and with a depth of 57.8 kilometers.
