Applicants who would be eligible to get the pre-paid card of €150, should be tax residents of Greece, have had their 18 or 19 birthday between January 1-December 31, 2021.
If they still meet the necessary criteria, an additional €150 in the following year.
The card will be in a form of a digital debit card and will enable beneficiaries to use it in companies related to culture, tourism and transport.
Applications can be submitted either via the vouchers.gov.gr site or through the citizens’ advice bureau (KEP).
From 2024 onwards, the platform will accept the applications of interested parties from April 1st to May 15th of each year, while the aid will be paid once a year by May 31 of each year.
Youth Pass was first introduced as ‘Freedom Pass’, in 2021 as an incentive for youth to get vaccinated against Covid-19 in exchange for spending money for summer vacations.
