Drone and satellite images emerged over the past 48 hours of the damage done by a major wildfire front that erupted west and southwest of the western port city of Patras late last week.
Three arrests on felony arson charges were made in the wake of the blazes.
A burnt landscape and the continuing smell of smoke and charcoal were evident on Sunday.
Meanwhile, two of the three local men arrested on arson of forestland charges appeared before an investigating magistrate on Sunday morning at the Patras courthouse. The pair are accused of starting or enhancing a wildfire that erupted at the Sychaina site.
Of the two, the younger suspect, 19, allegedly confessed to starting a fire outside the city after drinking beers and smoking hashish with a group of friends in a Patras square.
Police said he claimed he started a fire with a lighter that subsequently could not be extinguished due to gusty winds blowing at the time.
Meanwhile, the attorney of the third man, 25, on Sunday strenuously denied the charges against him and said his client attempted to extinguish flames in a rural area, and not to start a fire.
Testimonies were continuing in the latter case.
