Thessaloniki International Fair: 100Y with 1,100 Exhibitors

The 89th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) is celebrating its centenary next weekend, with 11 thematic sections and roughly 1,100 exhibitors across 33,000 square meters.

This year’s edition carries a special anniversary character, as it coincides with the centennial of TIF-HELEXPO and will showcase the organization’s past, present, and future.

The Thessaloniki International Fair will run from September 6 to 14 at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center.

The “International Participations,” representing 19 countries, underscore the outward-looking character of the Thessaloniki International Fair, bringing to the city organizations, delegations, and businesses from abroad—Europe, Asia, Africa, and beyond—that view Greece as a market full of potential.

Technology and innovation also stand out in this year’s exhibition. “AutoThessaloniki” launches a new dynamic platform for the automotive sector, showcasing for the first time in Greece new models from major car manufacturers.

Among the brands featured at AutoThessaloniki are BYD, Chery, Citroën, Dacia, Dongfeng, DS Automobiles, FMS, Ford, Geely, Jaecoo, KGM, Maxus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Nissan, Omoda, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, Smart, Skoda, XEV Yoyo and Zeekr.

The 100-year anniversary will be honored with an extensive audiovisual tribute at Pavilion 16, highlighting TIF’s rich history and evolution from 1925 to today.

As part of the celebration, the annual Treasure Hunt will also be dedicated to the centennial. Visitors will be invited to embark on a journey through time, scanning QR codes at 10 key stations of the tribute to learn about the institution’s course and enter a draw for prizes.

At the core of the exhibition is the “Greece and Entrepreneurship” section, showcasing the strength of Greek enterprises through the participation of chambers of commerce and hundreds of small and medium-sized businesses from across the country.

In total, 44 chambers under the Central Union of Chambers of Greece, representing 351 companies, will present products and services at Pavilions 2 and 3. The Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry will also participate with 51 member companies.

On the business front, scheduled B2B meetings between Greek and international exhibitors and trade visitors will take place from September 7 to 10 on the upper floor of Pavilion 15. Some 150 participants from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Albania, the Netherlands, and Greece have arranged around 400 meetings.
