Greek air carrier Aegean stated on Saturday it had reverted to an earlier software on some of its A320 aircraft following urgent instructions by Airbus on Friday.
The Greek company said it had installed and successfully tested its A320 aircraft, and the flight schedules would remain unaffected.
Another Greek airline company, SKY Express, said that none of its aircraft are among the 6,000 A320-family jets requiring a software update, emphasizing that its flights are operating normally.
Most of the global fleet is expected to return to full normal operations soon, but the 900 older aircraft will remain grounded until the new control systems are installed. The length of the delay will depend on the availability of replacement parts.
