
The Delphi Economic Forum, after two years away from its birthplace, returns to Delphi on 01 and 02 July with a special event focused on the Recovery Fund and the Future of Europe.
The conference will be held at the European Cultural Center of Delphi (EPC) with a limited number of participants and guests who will travel to Delphi to attend the discussions.
The conference will begin with a discussion on the economic and social consequences of the pandemic and the shift of European economies to more sustainable, “green” business models.

The Minister of Development and Investment, Adonis Georgiadis, the Minister of Environment and Energy, Costas Skrekas, the Deputy Minister of Finance in charge of Fiscal Policy, Theodoros Skylakakis and the Minister of Tourism, Haris Theocharis, who will develop the strengthening of the tourist flow to Greece.
The Minister of Interior, Makis Voridis will focus on the solutions for the creation of an independent and more efficient public administration adapted to the needs of citizens, businesses and society, while the Governor of Attica, Giorgos Patoulis, will refer to the role of regional authorities in the transition to a circular economy and the ways in which we will bring the state closer to the citizen through the utilization of the self-government mechanism.
A discussion on the integration of the ESG criteria for the environment and society and the shift of companies towards new sustainable business models will focus on: Alexis Patelis, Chief Financial Officer of the Prime Minister, Christos Harpantidis, Chairman and CEO, subsidiary of Philip Morris International, Simos Anastasopoulos, President of the Competitiveness Council, Nikos Vettas, General Manager of IOBE and Spyros Kintzios, Business Development Manager of Uni-Pharma.
The Minister of Finance, Christos Staikouras, will go to Delphi on the second day of the Economic Forum, where he will analyze the key factors for the recovery of the Greek economy and the EU contribution. for a stable and long-term course.
The Head of Research and Policy at the Munich Security Conference Dr. Tobias Tunde in turn will present for the first time in Greece the results of the recent Survey “Between States of Matter – Competition and Cooperation”, which focuses on how countries interact and deal with current international crises, based on risk factors affecting the societies of the G7 and BRICS countries. This will be followed by a discussion with the Professor of Constitutional Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Evangelos Venizelos.
The former Commissioner for Immigration, Dimitris Avramopoulos will develop the EU foreign policy. and the diplomatic relations it chooses to pursue with the surrounding areas.
The Deputy Minister of Interior in charge of Local Government Affairs, Stelios Petsas, will give the pulse and support of our country, to the important role that the national parliaments are called to play in the pan-European dialogue on the Future of Europe, in a debate on ” Conference on the Future of Europe “. The debate will also be attended by: Anna-Michelle Assimakopoulou, Member of the European Parliament, Dimitris Papadimoulis, Vice-President of the European Parliament, and Maria Spyraki, Member of the European Parliament.
The discussions also include individual thematic units, with specialized discussions such as Immigration, where the Minister of Immigration and Asylum, Notis Mitarakis, will develop Greece’s management plan and the challenges it brings.
The program of the Forum was formed in collaboration with the European Public Law Organization – Institute for Sustainable Development, ELIAMEP and the Munich Security Conference with which the Delphi Forum begins its cooperation.
