Govt eyes mandatory negative lab test result for ages 12-17 for entry into indoor public areas

The Greek government is reportedly ready to take the next step in tightening restrictions for people that have not been vaccinated for Covid-19, with a decision requiring negative rapid test results, of at least 48 hours, for pre-teens and teens aged between 12 and 17 wishing to enter closed public areas.

The measure will affect the indoor areas of restaurants, cafes, internet cafes etc.

Youths that have been vaccinated or can display a certificate that they contracted the virus with the past six months will be excluded from requiring to show lab tests.
