Mevlüt Çavuşoglu launched a new provocative attack on Nikos Dendias in an interview with CNN Turk.
Asked about relations with Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean, the Turkish Foreign Minister said provocatively:
“In the Eastern Mediterranean, we will not allow our rights to be violated. The Greek Foreign Minister behaves like a small child, if he does not cry five times a day and does not complain about Turkey, he does not stop. This shows a complex of inferiority and fear.”

The extortionist attitude of the Turkish Foreign Minister towards the USA while Turkey is in negotiations with Washington for the supply of F-16 also made an impression. “If the US does not give us the F-35s, then we will consider Russian SU-57s or SU-35s.”
Ankara’s frustration has been evident lately, and the reactions of the Turks to the initiatives undertaken by Athens, as well as the alliances it is developing in the wider region, are not surprising.
