Covid-19 pandemic in Greece -All-time record of 21,657 new infections on Tues.; 60 related deaths; 635 intubated patients

Τhe number of single-day Covid-19 infections recorded on Tuesday in Greece reached 21,657 over the past 24 hours, the highest figure ever recorded. The result emanates from 556,060 tests conducted around the country, and with positive rate at 3.89 percent.

Only 14 cases were detected at border points.

The figure brings the number of confirmed Covid-19 infections in the country, since the beginning of the pandemic, to 1,105,885.

Additionally, 60 related fatalities were recorded on the day, bringing the death toll to 20,557.

A total of 635 patients remained intubated in hospital ICUs, six higher than on Monday.
