At its new plant in Oinofyta, Pyramis will produce the new stoves made in Greece from March 2022, with the company announcing that the relocation of the mechanical equipment from the former factory of “Pitsos” in Renti to the new unit is in progress so the production at Onofyta can proceed.
Pyramis and its President and CEO, Nikolas Bakatselos, are proceeding according to the initial planning with the implementation of the scheme that was laid out after the agreement for the acquisition of part of the Pitsos equipment by the German BSH, which had decided to cease its operation.
Design of new products
PYRAMIS with the valuable contribution of the human resources of the historical industry picks up the baton of production of electrical appliances in Greece and in essence re-establishes Made-in-Greece electrical appliances in the Greek and international market, putting the Greek stamp on the production process. The design of the new products has already been completed and the next steps are the quality testing of the products and the installation of the mechanical equipment. The start of production of kitchen stoves (in the first phase) by the factory at Oinofyta, is estimated to begin on a trial basis at the end of March.
The President & CEO of PYRAMIS, Nikolas Bakatselos, among others, noted:
The start of the process of relocation of the mechanical equipment of “Pitsos” from Renti to the production unit of Pyramis in Oinofyta is the milestone that will lead to the operation of a factory that will meet the most modern production and quality standards and ensure competitiveness and prospects of the new unit inside and outside the borders. Our commitment to highlighting the Made-in-Greece character in industrial production, is another link in the effort made by the Greek economy and business for a substantial and sustainable development.”
