The fuel subsidy package, which will take effect in July, will provide an additional 375 million euros to motorists as announced by the prime minister during today’s cabinet meeting.

The new measures increase the subsidy for the Fuel Pass 2 from 45 euros to 80 euros for car owners in mainland Greece, while the subsidy for motorcycle owners amounts to 60 euros from the 35 euros that applied to Fuel Pass 1.

For the islands the subsidy goes up from 55 euros to 100.

As Kyriakos Mitsotakis noted, only the subsidy for fuel during this period amounts to a total amount of 580 euros.
