Accumulated turnover of Greek enterprises reached 91.49 billion euros in the first quarter of 2022, up 38.4 percent compared with the same period in 2021, the Hellenic Statistical Authority announced on Thursday.
The art-entertainment-leisure sector posted the biggest increase in turnover (+315.1 percent), while the media sector showed the lowest percentage increase (+5.3 percent).
In May, Greek enterprises’ turnover reached 30.559 billion euros, up 51.8 percent from May 2021. Enterprises in the hospitality sector recorded the biggest increase (+242 percent), while healthcare enterprises posted lowest percentage increase (+5.3 percent).
