Siemens – Kafkas: Strategic cooperation for the Greek medium voltage market

Siemens and Kafkas SA have concluded a strategic partnership in the field of medium voltage distribution in Greece. Siemens operates in the field of smart energy systems, buildings and industries, and Kafkas is one of the leading electrical hardware and technology chains in Greece.

In the context of this collaboration, which is the first License Agreement provided by Siemens to a certified partner in Greece, the production of SIMOSEC type medium voltage electrical switchboards with Air-Insulated MV Switchgear, which ensure reliable and economical power distribution in buildings and infrastructure. KAFKAS SA, as a certified “Technology Partner” of Siemens, will produce the panels in its production units in Greece and the products are expected to be available on the market towards the end of 2022.
