Energy and Environment Minister Kostas Skrekas will visit the Natural Gas facilities in Revythoussa this morning.

On July 29, Mr. Skrekas and the Crisis Management Team informed the members of the competent parliamentary committee, regarding guaranteeing the country’s energy sufficiency, noting that Greece has the least risks of an energy problem in the winter, although this is not zero, since the war continues to rage.

We started early

Mr. Skreakas noted that at the last European Council, Greece was the first country to submit a proposal to change the energy market model in Europe, and started planning very early and took timely measures.

As he said that the new floating tank in Revythoussa increases its capacity by 70% and enables the Greek state to implement 220,000 megawatts of natural gas per day.
