Greek tax bureau warns of email scam

Greece’s tax authority (ADAE) issued an urgent warning on Friday afternoon after cyber criminals sent thousands of emails to taxpayers claiming to be from the former.

The emails claims that recipients are entitled to a tax return, providing a bogus link ostensibly to the tax bureau platform, in an attempt to fool users into providing their bank log-in and passwords.
