
The picture presented by the tourist wave this summer was excellent, as reflected in the data on the use of the Uber application in Greece, which show a significant increase compared to 2019, the last year before the pandemic.
According to the data concerning the months of May – October 2022 compared to the corresponding period of 2019, it is recorded:
• increase in total tourist trips by 180%
• increase in routes to and from the airport “El. Venizelos” of Athens by 205%
• increase in tourists using the app from the US by 280%, from the UK by 270% and from France by 320%
• increase of tourist routes within the city limits of Athens by 250%
