
The partnership of Volvo Car Hellas – ElpeFuture aims at the rapid development of electric mobility in Greece, offering owners of purely electric and plug-in hybrid Volvo vehicles privileged access to Helleniq Energy‘s nationwide charging network.Drivers of electrified Volvo models will be able to purchase the special charging card, with the Volvo and ElpeFuture “ChargenGo” badges. By using it at ElpeFuture charging points throughout Greece, they will enjoy privileged services for charging their car.
What is offered
The new charging card will be delivered free of charge by Volvo Car Hellas to the owners of new pure electric and plug-in hybrid Volvo Recharge, during the delivery process of their car and valid for one year, without subscription or any other charge. Through the ElpeFuture “ChargenGo” smartphone app, Volvo Recharge drivers will be able to search for charging stations and manage their card, controlling their consumption and expenses.
Owners of new Volvo Recharge electric cars will be able to charge their car at any of ElpeFuture’s charging stations across the territory.
Includes DC fast chargers located at selected EKO/BP stations, AC charger installations in corporate parking lots and popular destinations such as shopping malls, parking lots and generally all ElpeFuture publicly accessible charging stations that appear on the ElpeFuture “ChargenGo” app “.
As also stated in the announcement, the company’s charging network is expanding rapidly throughout Greece, as part of its strategy to strengthen the country’s energy transition.

Helleniq Energy
For its part, HELLENiQ ENERGY, one of the most important energy providers in Southeast Europe, has already created in Kozani one of the largest photovoltaic parks at the European level. By drastically reducing its carbon footprint, it aims to achieve a 50% reduction in direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. As part of a €4 billion investment program, the organization plans to have 1 GW of installed capacity by 2026 and more than 2 GW in operation by 2030. The electricity that powers ElpeFuture’s charging stations comes from renewable sources, contributing to reducing the carbon footprint of electric vehicles throughout their life cycle.
