Mytilineos group announces acquisition of retail power provider Watt+Volt

Mytilineos Energy and Metals group on Thursday announced the full acquisition Watt+Volt, a retail electricity provider in Greece.

Mytilineos already fully owns Protergia, billed as the biggest private electricity producer and supplier.

In a press release, the group said Anastasios Papanagiotou will assume the post of executive director in its energy arm, M Energy Customer Solutions.

The total consideration cited was 36 million euros, of which 20 million euros will be paid in cash, with the rest in Mytilineos shares, distributed at a nominal value of 17 euros per share.
