Production index rises 11.7% in Q2 2023

The production index in Greece’s construction sector rose 11.7 percent in the second quarter of 2023, compared with the corresponding period in 2022, after rising by 25.5 percent in the same quarters in 2022/2021, the Hellenic Statistical Authority announced on Friday.

The statistics service said the index grew by 30.5 percent in the second quarter of 2023, compared to the first quarter of 2023, while the seasonally-adjusted index increased by 2.5 percent in the same quarter.
