KEPE Forecast: Greek GDP Growth at 2.1% for 2025

The Greek economy remains on a steady growth trajectory, with GDP expected to increase in 2025 by 2.1%, according to updated forecast released on Tuesday by the Center of Planning and Economic Research (KEPE).

According to KEPE, the forecast is a slightly downward revision, down from 2.2%, reflecting a mild slowdown of the growth rate in the second half of the year.

In a related development, the producer price index in industry (total domestic and foreign market) decreased by 1.7% in August 2025, to the corresponding month last year, and compared to a decrease of 2.4% in 2023.

According to the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT), the development is due to a decrease in the foreign market producer price index by 6.1% and an increase in the domestic market producer price index by 0.2%.
