Fraport Greece announced the renewal of its cooperation with Fortinet in the field of network security. More specifically, Fraport Greece, in the midst of a pandemic, renewed the infrastructure of the central Firewalls as well as those located at the regional airports with equipment from Fortinet.
In this way Fraport Greece is investing in high level security technologies and availability through a central management console. The purpose of the investment is to shield the infrastructure, at the level of Data Center and regional airports, taking advantage of the advantages offered by Next Generation Firewalls, while offering a high level of services to its customers.
As John Theofilos, Head of IT & Telecoms Unit at Fraport Greece, stated, “We are very pleased to have been able, in the midst of a pandemic, to further shield our airport security infrastructure, and to renew our partnership with Fortinet. Through this cooperation we are improving the services provided to corporate customers and the passenger public and at the same time we are accelerating the digital transformation of our organization “.
Fraport Greece has undertaken the maintenance, operation, management, improvement and development of the 14 regional airports in Greece, for the next 40 years. Fortinet operates in the field of Cyber Security with multiple facilities in Greece.
