The Minister of Development and Investment, Adonis Georgiadis, described the measure announced by the Prime Minister for the compulsory vaccination of over 60 as brave and difficult, noting that 95% of those admitted to the ICU are over 60, of which 93% are unvaccinated.
Mr. Georgiadis stressed that the interest of the country is for the pandemic to leave Greece and that the only plan that exists in the pandemic is vaccination.
Asked if there is a plan for a new lockdown, he stressed speaking to public broadcaster ERT, that there is no money to support it, while adding that the development has already reached the pocket of the world.
