In the context of the discussion on the bill of the Ministry of Health, Kyriakos Mitsotakis took to the podium.
The Prime Minister announced, on the day of World AIDS Day, the decision of the government to legislate the full integration in the intangible-electronic prescription of the HIV-positive patients receiving antiretroviral treatment and to give admission to citizens infected with HIV or hepatitis B and follow specific treatment, in the context of the policy to remove all discrimination against HIV-positive people and to facilitate their treatment.
For the measure of compulsory vaccination
The Prime Minister noted that the measure of compulsory vaccination was necessary and stressed that this word is stronger than the word compulsory. The Prime Minister stressed that this measure also comes in view of the effects of the Omicron variant.
He spoke of the proportionality of the measure, but also of the determination of the government. The Prime Minister said that he was very concerned about this decision, as he is a liberal politician.
