Greek PM, EBRD head meet in Athens

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met in Athens on Thursday with the president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Odile Renaud-Basso.

Repercussions of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on the European and Greek economies dominated the talks, in tandem with a wave of inflation that has affected Europe over the recent period.

Also discussed was the EBRD funding and know-how in terms of boosting entrepreneurship, Greece’s economic extroversion and improving the investment climate.
