Greece’s National Tourism Organization (GNTO) again fielded a presence this year at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2022 exhibition in the UAE, with two new agreements announced by the state-run promotion agency.
One foresees cooperation by GNTO and Qatar Airways for a joint campaign to promote Greece as a destination for the Arab market, namely, in UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, as well as in “long haul” markets, such as Australia.
The development comes after Qatar Airways announced that it was adding another Greek destination, with Santorini joining Athens and Mykonos.
The first Doha to Santorini flight will take place on June 7, 2022.
