Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis welcomed a top delegation of France’s Mouvement des Entreprises (MEDEF) at his Maximos Mansion office on Wednesday, where he referred to a “unique relationship” between the two countries.

Mitsotakis also cited the strategic partnership cultivated between the two countries, following an agreement with President Emmanuel Macron in Paris last year, “which is particularly significant for France’s geopolitical presence in the eastern Mediterranean.”

He added that foreign companies are investing in several sectors in the country, beyond of tourism and renewable energy sources, ticking off the sectors of hi-tech technology, logistics, education and healthcare.

Apart from MEDEF President Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux, other participants in the French delegation included L’Oreal President Jean-Paul Agon and executives from Airbus, Bollore, Bouygues Batiment International, Egis, Fives, Galileo Global, Idemia, Iveco France, Louis Dreyfus Armateurs Group, Naval Group, Ratp Development, Safran, Saur International, Sulo, Thales and Vinci Concessions.
