PepsiCo Hellas, the multinational’s subsidiary in Greece, this week announced the resumption of bottling in the country of the iconic Ivi brand carbonated and non-carbonated drinks.
The aluminum canned soft drinks will be produced at the Epsa facility near the port city of Volos, in central Greece, beginning this spring.
PepsiCo Hellas referred to a “strategic partnership” with Epsa, and reminded that it is fulfilling a commitment to repatriate the Ivi brand to Greece.
Ivi products first debuted on the Greek market in 1926, and for decades earned accolades for its orange- and lemon-based soft drinks. PepsiCo Hellas said the repatriated production line will also feature new recyclable containers.
