Greece-based enterprises’ turnover grew by 8.3 percent or 7.5 billion euros in absolute terms, in the first quarter of 2023, reaching totaling 97.56 billion euros, up from 90.1 billion euros in the corresponding quarter last year, the Hellenic Statistical Authority announced on Friday.
Specifically, the largest increase was posted by the financial and insurance sector (61.9 percent), while businesses in the electricity-natural gas and air conditioning sector posted the biggest decline in turnover (-20.2 percent).
