Greece’s GDP grew by 5.6 percent in 2022 compared with 2021, according to revised data released on Wednesday by the Hellenic Statistical Authority.

Specifically, final consumption spending grew 6.2 percent (household spending rose by 7.6 percent and general government spending rose 2.1 percent).

Imported goods and services rose by 7.2 percent, while exports were up 6.2 percent.

At the same time, gross capital formation increased 5.5 percent in 2022, while gross fixed capital formation increased 11.7 percent.
