The nominal value of private sector loans extended by domestic lenders and now managed by members of the Hellenic Loan Servicers Association, which have been subsequently transferred to non-resident financial institutions, increased by 1.617 billion euros over the second quarter of 2025. Overall, the figure increased to 79.714 billion euros from 78.097 billion euros in the corresponding period of 2024.
Specifically, the nominal value of serviced corporate loans increased to 27.961 billion euros in the second quarter of 2025, up from 27.631 billion euros in the previous quarter. The nominal value of loans extended to non-financial corporations (NFCs) increased by 330 million euros to 27.930 billion euros at the end of the second quarter of 2025. Out of the total of these loans to NFCs, 10.456 billion euros correspond to loans to SMEs.
According to the BoG, the nominal value of loans to other financial institutions serviced by CSFs remained unchanged at 31 million euros.
Loans to sole proprietors, farmers and unincorporated partnerships
The nominal value of loans to sole proprietors, farmers and unincorporated partnerships serviced by CSFs increased by 161 million euros from the previous quarter, to 9.778 billion euros at the end of the second quarter of 2025.
Loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions
The nominal value of loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions serviced by CSFs increased by 1.127 billion euros to 41.975 billion euros at the end of the second quarter of 2025.
