The opening of the restaurant on May 4, ie the Tuesday after Easter, seems to be favored by government and scientists.
According to information, the proposal has been put on the table to open cafes and restaurants outdoors and not indoors, immediately after the celebration of the Resurrection in order to defuse the situation in the squares and as the uncontrolled crowding no longer makes sense compared to an opening with rules.
The final suggestions will be made today and possibly the decisions will be announced by the prime minister in his address, most likely tomorrow.
The Infectious Diseases Committee of the Commission, which is currently meeting, is also suggested to allow shopping without appointments from the shops.
In particular, the experts appear positive as concers the relaxation of the existing measures regarding the retail trade, thus giving the green light for shopping without the need for the customer to make an appointment with the store. Of course, always following the rules for the number of customers that will be in the stores.
It is worth noting that after the images of crowds of thousands of people hanging out in squares, but also the decisions for the opening of the Churches, it no longer makes any sense to postpone the opening of the cafes and restaurants outdoors. The suggestions of most scientists are to widen the focus with control, with strict rules that must be followed by entrepreneurs and customers.
That is, distances from the tables outdoors, no overcrowding in the shops, and observance of the sanitary measures.
