Greece-based systemic lender Alpha Bank on Friday said a planned 800-million-euro share capital increase via the Athens Stock Exchange (ATHEX) aims to attract enough capital in order to finance its development plan.
Details of the capital share increase are expected next week.
In a press release on Friday, the bank said it has hired JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE as consultants, while referring to what it called the current favorable market conditions and its strong financial position.
