Patras: Big fire in Profitis Ilias – Evacuation order given

An order for the preventive evacuation of homes and businesses located near the front of the fire in the area of ​​Profitis Ilias, in Patras, was given by the Fire Brigade.

According to information, residents and employees will be transported to the outdoor car park of the “Tofalos” indoor stadium , while the aerial firefighting forces has started throwing water over the fire front.
