A new two-euro coin commemorating the 200 years since the first Greek constitution is put into circulation.
According to the decision published in the Government Gazette, a new € 2 commemorative coin is put into circulation, with the subject: “200 YEARS SINCE THE FIRST GREEK CONSTITUTION”.
This coin is minted in a quantity of 750,000 pieces, with the representation of the national side different from the circulating Greek coins of the same value. The representation on the common face and the obverse side of the above coin is the same as the circulating Greek coins of this value with a year of minting in 2022.
The technical characteristics of the coin are those of the circulating coins of € 2, as defined in the provisions of Regulation (EU) Council Regulation (EC) No 729/2014 of 24 June 2014 on the denomination and technical specifications of euro coins issued
