In the presence of the Prime Minister, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the president of the Central Union of Chambers of Greece (K.E.E.E.) Yannis Masoutis, declared the opening of the work of the Union’s General Assembly.
The prime minister referred to the strategic alliance and fruitful cooperation between the chamber community and the government. He pointed out that the challenges from the energy crisis will be effectively dealt with as a comprehensive plan has been developed, jobs have been shielded and business support has been provided.
He even referred to the announcements that will follow at the International Exhibition of Thessaloniki, which will concern interventions that are generous but strictly determined based on budgetary elements.
The president of K.E.E.E., for his part, referred to the energy crisis affecting the global economy and asked the government to continue supporting households and businesses – taking into account the possibilities of the budget.
He emphasized that the difficult winter should not stop the recovery of the Greek economy, while the resources of the Recovery Fund and the new NSRF as well as the incentives and reforms provided for in the National Recovery Plan are tools for the productive transformation and strengthening of the economy.
