Annual jump of 42% in Greek job vacancies

The number of job vacancies in Greece in the last quarter of 2022 showed a jump compared to a year earlier.

In particular, as announced by ELSTAT, the number of Vacancies during the 4th quarter of 2022 showed an increase of 42.2% compared to the 4th quarter of 2021, to 20,927 positions and from 14,713 respectively.

It is noted that in the corresponding comparison one year earlier, i.e. from 2021 to 2020, there was an increase of an impressive 99.3%, however in 2020 the Greek economy was in lockdown.
