New job creation programs

Τhe government intends to give impetus to the creation of new jobs through a new program, according to the decisions of the cabinet on Monday.

In particular, according to the decisions of yesterday’s cabinet meeting the program for the creation of 100,000 new jobs (for 6 months) will provide insurance coverage  and an additional subsidy for the long-term unemployed and those seasonally employed.

It should be noted that this program, which has been in force since October 2020, provides for the coverage of all contributions for the employment of the unemployed and a subsidy of 200 euros in the salary of the long-term unemployed.

Also, the decisions of the cabinet provide for training programs by the Ministry of Labor are provided (through government employment agency OAED).
