The Professor of Intensive Care pulmonologist Theodoros Vasilakopoulos spoke about those vaccinated, the third dose and the parades.
Mr. Vasilakopoulos referred to the parades and demonstrations as events that are singularl events, and stressed that it matters who organizes something.
“The parade is an isolated event. Any event that has synchronicity carries a risk. They have the same danger as the demonstrations. Parades, however, are organized by the state,” he said.
According to his personal opinion, the parade should be done only with vaccinated people and the students should parade with masks.
As for the vaccinated, the professor stressed to Sky TV that they should be motivated, as they currently have the same access as the unvaccinated. “Why in the tavern one or two musicians can not play music, while a great artist can give a concert and everyone can dance standing up”, he said and added that “when we go to the logic of horizontal measures, the one who has not been vaccinated says “why I am vaccinated. ”
Who and when should get a third jab
“Yesterday”, to make the third installment, stressed Mr. Vasilakopoulos, on the occasion of the message of a viewer who states that he is immunosuppressed.
The professor explained that the semester concerns the healthy, as for so long they have high protection. “Nothing will happen if you do it sooner. The immunosuppressed are a special category.”
He noted, however, that people who are immunosuppressed may not have developed the same immunity as a healthy person, so they should take the boost immediately.
Finally, regarding the flu vaccine, he clarified that there is no problem if the two vaccines coincide. “The vaccine along with the masks and the distances almost wiped out the flu,” he said.
