A taste of the great project of regeneration of the area of the Ellinikon – Agios Kosmas Metropolitan Pole, will be available for residents and visitors of the capital on the days of the holidays.
As of yesterday afternoon, Lamda Development gave the public the Experience Park. It is a park of more than 70 acres, part of the Metropolitan Park of Elliniko, which will grow every day to become the largest park in Europe.
The park will be open daily from 17.00 to 22.00 and on the first afternoon of its release to the public, it received a veritable host of visitors.

Among them are the Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis and the Deputy Minister Nikos Papathanasis, who were welcomed by the CEO of Lamda Development Odysseas Athanassiou. The two members of the government enjoyed their walk in the park and posted photos on their social media accounts.
Adonis Georgiadis: The Ellinikon has begun
Ellinikon not only started, but the first park was delivered, said Adonis Georgiadis, obviously satisfied, in twitter messages he posted today.
The Minister of Development and Investment emphasizes that despite the disputes, “infinite obstacles” have been resolved and since yesterday Ellinikon is open to the public.
More specifically, the minister stated the following:
“They questioned either if @Lamda_Dev had the money for the project, or whether it would be able to solve the endless obstacles that existed, either one or the other, etc. We closed our ears and moved on. From yesterday, the Greek people can visit” Ellinikon has started “”.
My first meeting at @MinDevGR the day I took over the portfolio was with Mr. Odysseas Athanassiou of @Lamda_Dev so it all started and we arrived in June this year when the company bought the land from the HRADF and yesterday it finally opened to the public. Always with @npapathanasis

Adonis Georgiadis did not fail to mention Pavlos Polakis.
“Pavlos Polakis gave me in Parliament, a gift, a toy bulldozer to say that “Elliniko” is not progressing; I have kept it in my office as a monument of arrogance and failed opposition. If he wants me to guide him personally to the Park of “Elliniko”, I will be happy “.
Festive Experience Park
Experience Park, a park that has been created for everyone, is waiting for young and old to visit it and escape from the everyday life of the city.
There they will discover the fascinating fountain with hundreds of water jets that create unique choreography, the outdoor sports areas, the playground and the garden with the olive trees, where the element of water and the Mediterranean nature dominate.
Especially for the festive period from December 20 to January 9, the Experience Park, decorated and full of sparkle, invites the public to the most beautiful Christmas experience. The two unique light installations, presented for the first time in Greece, stand out: the imposing Stalactite with very bright patterns that synchronizes with music, which bears the signature of the artists Christopher Bauder and Boris Divider and the impressive Helios, designed by the Algorithm team , which creates a landscape full of light, movement and rhythm. A special place in the park has the Christmas Tree, 17 meters high, a composition of 180 small firs, which after the end of the festive season will be available for reforestation. Around the Christmas Tree, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy wonderful flavors from the Kitchen Lab of Akis Petretzikis, Elias Skoulas, LUKUMADES and OPSOPHY as well as ethnic proposals from ESTEBAN Burrito Bar and Falafeladiko, in combination with many others. surprises.
In the area of Experience Park there are three Air Force hangars that are designated by the Ministry of Culture as newer monuments.
Admission to the park is free and access is from Vouliagmeni Avenue, very close to Ellinikon Metro station. For the convenience of visitors, a free parking space has been created in the Park. In addition, free shuttle bus service is provided by Elliniko Metro.
For the safety of visitors, the relevant procedures and recommendations adopted by the competent health authorities are followed.
