Aegean Airlines, Greece’s flag carrier, on Friday inaugurated the first of eight flights from European destinations and Israel to the jet-setting island of Mykonos, which will serve as its second seasonal hub, after the Ionian island of Corfu.

The first such flight arrived from Zurich, with the other routes being from Rome, Venice, Naples, Paris, Larnaca (Cyprus) and Tel Aviv. The specific flights will be available for the next two months, the peak of the summer season.

Additionally, Aegean announced stepped flights from Athens, Thessaloniki and Irakleio (Crete) the eponymous Cyclades isle.
